Use 1-2x weekly after cleansing with the Pa'akai Cleansing Cream. Massage a dime-nickel size amount over entire face and let it work its magic for 10-15 minutes. A slight tingling sensation is typical but will dissipate after a few minutes. Rinse or towel off with cool water. Ingredients
Bamboo charcoal draws out impurities from the skin while the ni’oi (Hawaiian chili pepper) aids in detoxification and stimulation of blood flow. While this mask is deeply cleansing, it does not leave skin feeling dry like most charcoal masks as it also feeds the skin with kalo (Hawaiian taro root is rich in phyto-nutrients, vitamins and minerals (beta carotene, vitamins A &C)). This plant is filled with skin loving phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals, such as beta-carotene, anti-aging vitamins A and C, and skin repairing manganese. 'Ōlena (turmeric) brightens while tamanu oil brings balance and hydration and healing to this active mask.

In this formula, we use our most prized ingredient in Hawaiian culture, the Kalo plant. The Kalo or Hawaiian Taro is a food staple for the Hawaiian people. It is filled with phytonutrients which are not only amazing for our bodies, but happen to be beneficial for skin as well. Aside from this special plant, we use Hawaiian healing techniques such as leading with heat. “Heat” ingredients can promote circulation to the face and boost ingredient efficacy.
