Dive into Māhealani

What is so great about Māhealani....So many things....and after a YEAR in the making, we can finally share them with you.

Macadamia Nut Oil - Sourced from the island of Maui, our Mac Nut Oil is a lighter oil that helps skin retain a youthful, healthy appearance.  It contains palmitoleic acid, which can delay skin and cell aging while preventing water loss.  Let's be honest...we all need this!

Passion Flower Seed Oil - Also known as Maracuja Oil, this very light oil is perfect for skin irritations. Its antibacterial properties make it excellent for mature or oily skin.

Illipe Seed Butter - I-L-L-I-P-E for those of us that thought it might be i-i-i-i-p-e!  Sourced from the magnificent Shorea Stenoptera tree in Borneo, this butter helps restore skin's natural elasticity.  It positively melts when it connects with your skin.

Squalene - Squalene is all the rage because it is a very lightweight oil that our skin naturally produces.  It maintains skin's hydration and has antioxidant and anti-aging properties to minimize environmental damage.  Squalene is often unethically sourced, so be sure to know where yours comes from.  Ours comes from olives!

Kukui Nut - A longstanding Honua champion, Kukui Nut oil has been used for centuries to keep skin soft, smooth and radiant.

Licorice Root Extract - Very effective antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, which makes it a powerful remedy for eczema, rosacea and other skin concerns. Licorice also brightens skin so sign us up for that!

Vetiver Root Oil - Grounding, sensual and calming, the vetiver in our balm helps to balance the blue tansy and other exotic scents.  Vetiver is known to sooth anxiety, fatigue, and more.

Blue Tansy - The exotic scent of blue tansy works miracles in stress and anxiety with its slightly sweet, fruity and floral blend. The benefits continue beyond stress relief as this beautiful oil is antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory for a true multi-tasker!

I love the Mahealani. It smells so refreshing and calming and I can definitely smell the vetiver. At first, I thought this balm was going to be too thick for my face. But it is not, and it makes my face feels so soft and smooth! Thank you for making this. I love it:)
